Minutes of meeting held on 15thMay, 2019, at 7.30pm

Chairman welcomed everyone and the minutes of the previous meeting were agreed. No matters arising.
Greenbelt/Forum
It is likely that the Public Examination will now be late October. A Forum Newsletter has been distributed throughout the village and thanks were given to the Association for their help in this. It is hoped that the Newsletter will help to increase awareness of the Local Plan and raise funds for the Forum. It is thought that, even now, some people are unaware of the ongoing situation. It was agreed that the Newsletter gave an excellent visual impression of the proposed development and the huge impact this will have on the village.
A Stall and Tombola will be run at the Fete to raise awareness, canvass for membership and generate much needed funds.
A Raffle will be held at the Cricket Match on the 3rdJune. Donations for the Tombola, and Raffle, to be given to JM.
Posters will be displayed in the Village before Inspectors’ visit to keep people aware.
Edenfield in Bloom
Presentations will be held at the Parish Church Coffee Morning on 2ndNovember, 2019.
Fingerpost Gardens
Spring flowers to be seeded soon.
Special General Meeting
A minor change has been made to the Constitution. The suggested change was to set out the procedure in the event that the Association should be dissolved.
Fell Race and Cricket Match
Extra Marshalls volunteering were AA and SH. Meet up time 9.40am Cricket Club. Help to set up was requested by 9.15am and again AA and SH agreed to assist.
PB to ring MC to obtain contact details for MS the winner of the Shield from last year.
MW confirmed a Team, with Captain, had been formed and he would ensure details were given to everyone prior to the event.
It was confirmed that AC had Trophies for the winning team. JM would get a Trophy for Man of the Match.
Litter Pick
30 people took part and 204 bags were collected. A very successful effort and thanks were given to the Brownies, Guides and Rainbows who were very helpful. Thanks we also given to everyone who took part. Photograph and Press Release had been sent to the Free Press.
Newsletter
The Newsletter was out to be delivered. Thanks were given to MK for the setting up and printing.
Fete
Chairman read through the Action Plan and arrangements agreed.
Post Fete ‘Bash’ – Rostrons at 8.30pm Pie and Peas – PB to book for 20 people at 8.30pm. An alternative vegetarian option was requested.
Treasurer’s Report
Finace report given by treasurer
Monies in the account in respect of the Secret Garden project at Bury Road are ring-fenced
£500 to be paid to Proffitts. Simon provided an estimated list of costs for the Secret Garden Project to the Treasurer.
Website
Thanks were given to MK for the hard work in re-building the Website after it was hacked.
